"Feed"

Feed was a pretty good book I thought, but it was hard to understand ever thing because of the slang and the abnormal things that were happening. The book does discuss some problems that might arise in real life, but it is a little weird some the content in the book. With people having lesions, being frozen, and breaking down and stop working. The weirdest thing I thought about the book that Violet touch in the book was how people were falling apart basically being feed on by the "feed" and they still were partying and acting like all that was happening was normal. I did like the ending of the book.

I agree partly with the doctor who said we are the dumbest generations. One thing is that technology is cutting down on our communication skills, everyone is abbreivating everything in their conversations with their friends. Also, technology is taking over our life, because I know when I feel bored I just use one of my electronic devices to pass time. But, these electronic devices aren't teaching us anything. I think in time we will become dumber than some generations in the pass. What I think is upsetting is that college is more affordable to people than ever and people waste the chance to better your life in the long run. That is why I think we are dumber than other generations that came before us.

The video we watched in class on thursday was very disturbing to me. I had no idea that advertisements had that big of a affect on women of our nation. In the majority of ads in the us it depicts women as either helpless, a need for men, easy, and a lot is center around sex. The lady in the video socked me when she said that 1 out 5 women in our nation has a eating disorder. I really think that this ads are really becoming a big problem. Im glad I watched that video, because I have gained some awareness about this advertisement problem.
